INTERVENTIONS
- we definitely oppose the activities of and statements made by Jan Grabowski, a historian and lecturer at the University in Ottawa. In his numerous publications and public statements he falsifies Poland’s history by suggesting that Poles are complicit in the Holocaust / 2017
- we issued a statement on relations between Poland and Ukraine taking into consideration the alarming tendencies appearing in the Ukrainian history politics / 2017
- we reacted to using the expression “Polish concentration camp” by the Italian Press Agency ANSA / 2 million emails / 2017 / success
- we joined the action #GermanDeathCamps condemning the use of the expression “Polish death camps” / 2017
- we react to publicly insulting the Polish flag, national symbols and insurgent, historic and religious symbols in the public space
- we react to defamation in the German press, including Frankfurter Rundschau and other foreign media
- we continuously monitor the media for cases of defamation of Poland and Poles
EDUCATION
- thanks to our efforts the Act on the Institute of National Remembrance was amended to include the provision “counterfactual public accusing the Republic of Poland or the Polish nation for being responsible or co-responsible for the Nazi crimes committed by the German Third Reich” / 2016 / success
- we educate MEPs on the current situation in Poland
- we inform foreign journalists how they should write about Poland
- we launched a magazine “Reduta Online”, a periodical on history and social issues
